First of all, it is important to choose a pair that is comfortable.
After all, you will be on your feet for quite a while and you do not want to be uncomfortable or be in pain in new shoes. Try to buy a pair that is similar to the usual heels that you wear. If that is not possible or you want to wear another style, buy the shoes weeks before the big day. Wear them for a few minutes initially; increasing the time you wear them to break them in slowly. This way by the time the big day arrives, you will be very comfortable in your new shoes.
