It Is Wedding Season for the "Royal Wedding" of Prince William and Kate Middleton
Prince William and Kate Middleton have dated for eight years, until Prince William decided that one special day in November 2010 to propose to Kate Middleton in a surprise engagement date! They have been planning there wedding from day 1--since they announced their engagement. This Royal Wedding will be the biggest news for everyone in the whole world! They will have consultants from the TLC show "Say Yes to the Dress" appearing in it! They are getting married April 29, 2011!
They decided to hire a wedding planner named Mark Niemierko, based in London, to make their wedding day dreams come true. The planner made a comment stating that the cost for this wedding could end up around quarter of a million pounds to a half-million pounds ($397,000 to $794,000). Isn't it amazing how much a royal wedding could cost?
The details of planning this wedding range from deciding on the colors of their wedding décor, to what type of tux, the details of their cake, to the biggest and most important thing-- "The Wedding Gown"! Also, Kate Middleton chose a very well-known wedding photographer "Getty Images/Chris Jackson" to be their photographer, so they are sure to capture all their special moments for that day!
The Royal Couple decided to use save-the-date invitations for the Royal Wedding. These were sent out to their guests by fax, because mailing them would have taken too long to receive. They used fully handwritten invitations, which were embossed in a beautiful gold design, and they will be sent to 1,800 of their closest friends and family members. These guests of the Royal Wedding are separated into three tiers: those invited to the ceremony, the reception, and the after party! There ceremony will be at Westminster Abbey located in London. They will have different routes from the ceremony location to the reception location at Buckingham Palace! They will be taking a horse-drawn carriage to the Palace after the wedding ceremony!
Kate Middleton's dress is the most important clothing she will wear on her Wedding Day, and it has been the "talk of the town" since the engagement announcement. The Royal Couple has decided to keep the gown a secret until the big day, but there are many rumors flying around about who will design the dress. It has been rumored that Bruce Oldfield, who did the design of Queen Rania's (of Jordan) dress, and also a rumor that one of Princess Diana's favorite designers may have a hand in the design for Kate Middleton, but there are no official details that have been released as of yet
